Distributed.net is een distributed-computingplatform, waarop momenteel twee projecten actief zijn. Aan beide projecten, rc5-72 en ogr-28, nemen de welbekende Dutch Power Cows deel; deze dappere meiden en jongens bezetten bij beide een plekje in de hoogste regionen van de statistieklijsten. Één van de ontwikkelaars, Sunset, heeft een nieuwe rc5-72-rekencore geschreven voor ARM64 die ongeveer vijf keer sneller is dan voorheen. Dit is goed nieuws voor mensen die Raspberry Pi 3 of Cavium Thunder X2 systemen gebruiken. De lijst met veranderingen ziet er als volgt uit:
