bkor stuurt ons door naar Kernel.org, waar versie 2.5.68 te downloaden is van de development kernel van Linux. Deze release is in twee varianten te downloaden: de eerste is de volledige kernel en de tweede is de patch met een grootte van twee megabyte. Tons of changes all over the map. The diff is large, partly because the s390x support got merged into the s390 port as a 64-bit subset, and the old s390x architecture files thus became irrelevant. And a merge with Alan gave us a another architecture instead - h8300.
Lots of dvb updates (digital video), again through Alan. And a major aic79xx driver update.
Oh, and the devfs stuff by Christoph means that devfs users should beware: in particular, devfs users need to mount the pts filesystem like everybody else does, that duplication got killed.
