Software-update: Xmpeg 5.0a

Xmpeg is aangekomen bij versie 5.0a. Dit programma stamt af van het welbekende FlaskMPEG en kan MPEG1 (audio en video) en MPEG2 formaten decoderen om ze daarna weer te encoderen met de encoder van jouw geliefde formaat. De release notes laten ons het volgende weten:

XMPEG will soon support deinterlace, and a few new filters. A plugin will support SBC encoding to improve the final quality of your AVIs. I'm working for a good implementation of Random Access (Multipass encoding). A reliable version of Xmpeg will be available soom.

This version has a lot of improvement. Please read :

• YUV support (YV12 and YUY2) for faster encoding
• New resizer from DVD2AVI, which improves performances.
• Help tool tips.
• Exceptions handled.
• Information panel.
• Exception management to avoid stupid crashes.
• GUI improvement.
• Subtitle Start/Stop points.
• Lot of bug fixed (subtitles, export audio, shut down...)

  • XMPEG's windows easier to use

  • Selection of the picture ratio to display during the conversion

  • Shift Even Field
  • Full Motion Detection Filter

ik denk dat dit meer iets van een DVD "backup" proggie is...

Is dat niet duidelijk zat?
Het is dus een proggie om films opnieuw te coderen, in een ander formaat. Dus bijvoorbeeld DVD naar DivX

helaas is de Mism niet meer te downen, althans ik zie hem nergens.

Oh das wel fijn dat daar een update van is.

Ik vindt dit toch nog steeds een erg prettig tooltje.
Niet het meest logisch maar het kan wel het een en ander. Maar die Mism is onMISbaar overigens.

Hiermee kan die direct DVD's lezen voor those
that didn't know this.

BTW het gaat toch over xmpeg en niet over mism of ligt het aan mij........er is helemaal geen mism 5.0a..... er is een mism 5.0 .... staat zelfs bij de gegeven link >_<
