Microsoft heeft een update voor Office 2011 voor Mac beschikbaar gesteld. Office 2011 voor Mac bevat naast Word, PowerPoint en Excel voor het eerst ook e-mailcliënt Outlook. De update van het kantoorpakket voor OS X, die het versienummer naar 14.3.9 optilt, is verkrijgbaar in elf verschillende talen en is ongeveer 113MB groot. De update wordt ook via Microsoft AutoUpdate aangeboden en in dat geval kan de download kleiner zijn. Deze update bevat onder meer diverse verbeteringen voor Outlook.
