De derde release candidate van NewsBin Pro versie 6.50 is uitgekomen. Met dit programma kunnen bestanden, zoals foto's, films en programma's, van usenet worden gehaald. Nieuw in versie 6.50 is onder meer een watch-functie, waarmee naar specifieke content uitgekeken kan worden bij het ophalen van de headers. Ook kan de download worden uitgepakt naar een andere locatie dan waar deze in eerste instantie wordt opgeslagen. Het changelog voor deze release ziet er als volgt uit:

- Fixed issue when you switch from Local to Internet Search, too many groups were sent for "Search in Groups"
- Fixed crash when doing simultaneous local searches
- Fixed Growl, it's working again.
- Fixed issue with AutoPAR defaulting to "stop download if unraring".
- Fixed issue clearing the password list.
- Fixed issue where content filter was ignoring the passworded rar filter options.
- Paused files are no longer included when calculating download time.
- Can now multi-select passwords in the Password list for deletion.
- Changed Logging tab socket errors to provide more detailed messages.
- Removed error message from Logging tab when Search retries, was causing undue concern to users.
