Versie 3.0.11 van qBittorrent is verschenen. Deze opensource-torrentclient heeft versies voor Windows, Linux, OS X en FreeBSD en toont geen advertenties. Het programma wordt met Qt4 ontwikkeld en is gebaseerd op libtorrent (rasterbar). Het programma is het geesteskind van de Franse student Christophe Dumez, die er sinds maart 2006 aan werkt. Sinds versie 2.0 heeft het programma er heel wat functionaliteit bijgekregen en wat uiterlijk betreft heeft de software veel weg van µTorrent. In versie 3.0 zien we onder andere een nieuw scherm voor het toevoegen van torrents en kan er worden gekozen waar bestanden worden opgeslagen bij het toevoegen van een magnet-link. Het changelog voor versie 3.0.11 ziet er als volgt uit:
