AVM heeft nieuwe firmware uitgebracht voor zijn Fritbox Fon WLAN 7270, waardoor Fritz!OS 5.51 eindelijk ook voor dit apparaat beschikbaar gekomen is. De Fon WLAN 7270 is een adsl-modem, router en access point in één, die ook uitgebreide voip-mogelijkheden heeft. Verder beschikt het apparaat over een usb-aansluiting, waarmee een printer of externe opslagcapaciteit via het netwerk kan worden gedeeld. De firmware kan het beste vanuit de router zelf worden bijgwerkt. Hoe dat moet, wordt op deze pagina uitgelegd. Hieronder is te vinden welke aanpassingen AVM in deze release heeft doorgevoerd.
