Op de homepage van eMule lezen we dat versie 0.22b is gereleased. Een opmerkelijke nieuwe features is de IRC-client met een standaard IRC-server waarmee je ook kun kletsen met eDonkey gebruikers. Het changelog ziet er als volgt uit:
