Met het programma mRemoteNG kan je eenvoudig connecties beheren naar andere computers via onder andere rdp, vnc, ica, ssh en rlogin. De connecties worden in tabbladen weergegeven en je kan de verschillende opties van de connecties opslaan in een xml bestand en dit op verschillende werkplekken gebruiken. Het programma is begonnen als een fork van mRemote waarvan de ontwikkeling sinds 2009 gestaakt is om bugs te fixen en nieuwe features toe te voegen. De ontwikkelaar van mRemoteNG werkt sinds februari van dit jaar fulltime aan dit programma waarvan de uitgave van versie 1.70 enkele dagen geleden het resultaat is. De bijbehorende lijst met veranderingen ziet er als volgt uit:
