Met het programma mRemoteNG kun je eenvoudig connecties naar andere computers via onder andere rdp, vnc, ica, ssh en rlogin beheren. De connecties worden in tabbladen weergegeven en je kunt de verschillende opties van de connecties opslaan in een xml-bestand en dit op verschillende werkplekken gebruiken. Het programma is begonnen als een fork van mRemote, waarvan de ontwikkeling in 2009 gestaakt is om bugs te fixen en nieuwe functies toe te voegen. De originele ontwikkelaar van mRemoteNG heeft de ontwikkeling aan het begin van dit jaar opgegeven, nadat het al even stil was. Er is een nieuw team aangesteld onder leiding van David Sparer, dat hard aan het werk is met mRemoteNG. Na de uitgave van versie 1.74 in juli van dit jaar is nu de eerste bétaversie van 1.75 beschikbaar gesteld. De bijbehorende lijst met veranderingen ziet er als volgt uit:

Please note that the confCons.xml file schema has changed in this version. Make a backup of your connections file just in case you need to go back to a previous version.
