Software-update: eMule 0.20b

^Mo^ attendeerde ons op versie 0.20b van eMule. Dit programma gebruikt het netwerk van eDonkey om files te sharen. Hieronder staan de release-notes:

Ornis: fixed a crashbug at shutdown with selected searchresults

Ornis: Added multiselection to searchresults and serverlist (multi-server-removal & try connecting to selected servers)

Ornis: Added stop-connecting-function to the connectbutton

Ornis: Shared-files-list made sortable

tecxx: added a tooltip control to the download & upload windows currently displaying the filename of the client you are loading from

Merkur: Adjusted the antiagressive clientsystem to be less aggressive. Also banned clients are unbanned after 5 hours

Merkur: fixed several (crash)bugs and memleaks

pach2: fixed the ed2k link creation(added missing / at the end of links)

Ornis: Added Transferdialog-Splitbar to resize Download/Uploadwindow

Ornis: Fixed GDI Memleak

Ornis: several new statistic values

Ornis: Added: File-Detaildialog for downloads

Merkur: fixed a UDP bug which caused that some incoming packets were ignored

Merkur: adjusted the creditsystem formula. This will reduce the overalleffect of the creditsystem a little bit. However 0.21 will have a new feature(verified upload) which compensates this.

tecxx: hopefully solved the issues with the shared files selector on w9x. thanks LOVELACE from the board!

tecxx: emule now responds to "view shared files" command in edonkey friendslists, it shows only files based on permission settings

Unk: Outgoing udp packets was sometimes sent to the wrong port.

Unk: Detecting dead servers was buggy. [break] Op het forum loopt een topic over eMule .

Ik heb 'm reeds een dag of 2 draaien, en het gaat beter dan 0.20a, dat was eigenlijk een drama. Flinke memleaks hiero.
Dat is in deze versie deels opgelost, staat in de changelog ook, maar nou is ie nog niet stabiel. Bij mij geeft ie namelijk een ongeldige bewerking na een tijdje, en dan crasht ie.
Dus 't gaat de goede kant op, maar stabiel is ie nog allerminst (iig bij mij).

Ik vind het zwaar irritant dat wanneer je edonkey hebt draaien en Emule niet, dat die dan toch de edonkey links die je aan kan klikken via een http site toevoegt in Emule en niet in Edonkey.
Of is daar een workaround voor (behalve dan Emule verwijderen)

Deze jongen gaat weer gewoon 20a gebruiken. Die heeft meer dan een week gedraaid zonder 1 enkel probleem. 20b is bij mij al meerdere keren gecrasht.

Ik ben begonnen met 19a en 19c, die draaiden hier dagenlang probleemloos. 20a crashte echter als ik het programma een nachtje of middagje liet downloaden.

Met 20b is dit gelukkig opgelost. Het is snel, stabiel, en ik ben er erg tevreden over.

Heb deze Emule nou al sinds zaterdag (volgens mij) 20a crashte regelmatig en sloot zich automatisch af
20b werkt perfect hij draait nu vanaf zaterdag nonstop (24/7) geen moment gecrasht en dan die snelheden

Hier loopt het niet echt snel, eDonkey download sneller en die is al langzaam. Als ik een bestand download met 110 scources gaat ie nog maar net 5 kb/s terwijl ik makkelijk met 350 kb/s moet kunnen downloaden. Iemand een oplossing?

eMule 0.21a3 is uitgekomen:

- Ornis/Merkur: localized eMule. You can now choose which language your emule should speak: English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Danish, Lithuanian, Slovenian and Chinese (simplified) are available already. Some other translation didn't made it into this version, but will be added into the next one. Big Thanks to all translators out there
- Ornis: main-preferences are now stored in an .ini file (preferences.ini). This offers more compatibility for coming versions
- Merkur: Added a preview function which allows you to preview movies. Read the FAQ for more informations
- Merkur: Upload spikes should be reduced
- Merkur: emule accepts callbackrequests now (if you have a low id)
- Merkur: dead clients are deleted form your uploadlist properly now
- Unk: You can now sort the Queue and Upload list.
- Unk: You can now switch between the upload list and the queue list in the transfer window. (Based on Bouc7)
- tecxx: updated tooltip info texts
- tecxx: added upload priority.
- tecxx: added "staticservers.dat" file. file will be loaded at startup and includes your standard servers you always want to have in the list.
- Unk: Tweaked how server stats are aquired.
- Unk: Priority now works when connecting to servers and dead server are now removed while connected instead of only directly after connecting.
- Merkur: several bugfixes were added/merged
various gui tweaks/fixes (thanks to DrSirius for his new Icons)

There was a bug in 0.21a which caused this version to crash on Win9x/ME. This bug is fixed in 0.21a2. There are no other changes in this version.
