De 
Mozilla Foundation heeft een kleine update voor Thunderbird versie 11.0 uitgebracht. Mozilla Thunderbird is een opensource-client voor mail en nieuwsgroepen, met features als ondersteuning voor verschillende mail- en newsaccounts, een junkmailfilter, spellingscontrole en een aanpasbaar uiterlijk. Versie 11 is gebaseerd op de nieuwste versie van Mozilla Gecko, wat onder andere tot betere prestaties moet leiden. Verder zijn de tabs nu boven de menubalk geplaatst en er zijn natuurlijk weer een hoop bugfixes doorgevoerd. Deze update is uitgebracht om twee problemen te verhelpen.
Fixed:Known Issues
- Fixes an issue that may cause hangs when handling IMAP mail (bug 733731)
- Fixes an issue that may cause filters that move mail to specific folders to be erronously changed (bug 735940)
- If you are unable to view content for your RSS feeds in the Wide View Layout, you may need to disable the Lightning Calendar add-on if you have it installed or switch to Classic View and restart Thunderbird. (see 531397)
