De derde bètarelease van NewsBin Pro versie 6.30 is uitgekomen. NewsBin Pro is bedoeld om bestanden, zoals foto's, films en programma's, van usenet te halen. Deze bestanden kunnen in losse pakketjes van een of meer nieuwsservers worden gedownload en worden aan de ontvangende kant weer in elkaar gezet. Sinds versie 6.00 maakt de interface gebruik van tabs en is er een cache-to-memory-optie die, als een machine over voldoende geheugen beschikt, de constante toegang tot de harde schijf vermindert. De belangrijkste veranderingen die met versie 6.30 worden doorgevoerd plus de verbeteringen uit bèta 3 zijn hieronder te vinden:

- Made retries configurable. Should help for iffy connections. Default is 2. Can modify under Options/Setup.
- New column in Groups tab called "New Records" lists number of new posts since the last load.

- Fixed issue where ctrl-R wasn't performing UTF-8 to wide conversion so Ctrl-R wasn't showing foreign chars in the download list display
- Made changes to prevent duplicate "create display list" when dropping the search dropdown
- Now shows progress during a large "find"
- If autopar is disabled, it now works like 5.59 - PAR files get sent to the Wish list and RAR files get queued for download.
- You can now see estimated download time for currently selected items in the download list.
- Added an option in the NBI file to let the user enable or disable using timestamps of files within RAR files.
