Nokia heeft voor zijn mobiele telefoons van het type E52 nieuwe firmware uitgebracht met 051.018 als versienummer. Deze update kan zoals gewoonlijk met behulp van de Nokia Software Updater worden binnengehaald en vervolgens naar de mobiele telefoon worden doorgepompt. Daarnaast kan je gebruikmaken van fota of binnenlopen bij een Nokia Service Punt om de update te laten uitvoeren. This software release comes with Microsoft Office Communicator 1.7 and Nokia Chat 2.0, bringing new chat features to your device.The Bloomberg application has also been added for viewing Bloomberg financial information. This release includes a number of usability and performance improvements,including updated browser, updated QuickOffice with Office 2007 support, and a new version of Lotus Notes Traveler. Many of the Ovi applications,including Ovi Music, Ovi Store, Ovi Sync, and Ovi Files, have been updated.There are also improvements to the e-mail, calendar, and Contacts applications.To get this software through your device, select Applications > Software Update,and choose the software you want to update.Alternatively,this software release is available through the Nokia Software Updater.
