Astonsoft heeft versie 4.02 uitgebracht van EssentialPIM. Deze personal information manager maakt het mogelijk om afspraken bij te houden, een adresboek te beheren en e-mails te versturen en te ontvangen. Het programma is in diverse talen, waaronder het Nederlands, te gebruiken. EssentialPIM is beschikbaar in een standaard- en een pro-uitvoering. De eerste is gratis, maar slechts beperkt bruikbaar. Zo kan bijvoorbeeld niet met een draagbaar apparaat of met Outlook worden gesynchroniseerd. Een compleet overzicht van de onderlinge verschillen is op deze pagina te vinden. In versie 4.00 is onder andere een password manager toegevoegd, is de zoekfunctionaliteit verbeterd en kan met meer bronnen worden gesynchroniseerd.
