Zaterdag is versie 0.9.5 van Miranda IM verschenen. Dit opensource-instantmessagingprogramma wordt alleen voor Windows ontwikkeld en biedt standaard onder andere ondersteuning voor ICQ, irc, MSN, AIM, Jabber en Yahoo. De download is iets meer dan 2MB groot en daarmee krijg je een sober en licht programma. Zowel de functionaliteit als het uiterlijk van het programma kan echter met honderden verschillende add-ons en plug-ins naar eigen wens worden aangepast. Het changelog voor versie 0.9.4 laat de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen zien:
