TechSmith heeft versie 10.0 van Snagit uitgebracht. Met dit programma kunnen plaatjes, tekst, bewegende beelden en webpagina's worden afgevangen en bewerkt. Zo kunnen er bijvoorbeeld effecten als perspectief, spotlight en magnify op worden losgelaten. Verder kunnen er ter verduidelijking teksten, pijlen en cirkels worden aangebracht. De screenshots kunnen onder meer als pdf-document worden weggeschreven. Nieuw in versie 10 is onder andere dat er geen aparte profielen meer zijn voor desktop, venster, webpagina's en dergelijke. Er is nu één slimme capture, die die precies pakt wat nodig is. Daarnaast is het mogelijk om afbeeldingen met een transparante achtergrond te maken, kan toegevoegde tekst nu ook worden geroteerd en is de ondersteuning voor Windows 7 verbeterd. - Fixed a bug where high DPI settings on Vista caused Snagit Editor to display distorted images.
- Improved Snagit's performance by caching thumbnails in the tray rather than redrawing them.
