Software-update: Outpost Firewall Pro 7.0.3 build 3392.517.1242

Agnitum heeft dinsdag een nieuwe versie van zijn firewallsoftware Outpost Firewall Pro uitgebracht. Het gaat om versie 7.0.3 build 3392.517.1242 en vanaf deze pagina kan zowel een 32bit- als een 64bit-versie worden gedownload. Het programma houdt ongewenste indringers en spyware tegen, filtert op ongewenste content en heeft een ingebakken privacy-controller. • LNK files integrity control algorithm is implemented in Anti-Spyware to prevent infection by malware based on LNK exploit

Critical Objects evolves into new System Guard component:

• Critical registry entries and system files protected from modification using preset rules

Redesigned UI:

Heeft iemand deze versie al kunnen ontvangen via de update functie? ik namelijk niet..

Volgens mij kan je het programma zelf enkel updaten door de nieuwe versie te downloaden en upgraden, via de update knop gaat dat niet.

Toen het nog Agnitum outpost 4 heette heb ik een levenslange licentie gekocht ..
(Ja ja Scherpmes betaald heus wel voor software als ik het echt van belang vind en het uitstekende software vind).
Ik moet zeggen dat ik dik tevreden ben .. het gevoel van veiligheid welk deze software matige firewall mij geeft is enorm.
Uiteraard is alles te hacken, maar mits goed geïnstalleerd is het geen eitje om deze software matige firewall te verslaan.
