Astonsoft heeft een nieuwe versie uitgebracht van EssentialPIM en is meteen maar van versienummer 3.54 naar 3.7 gegaan. EssentialPIM is een personal information manager en maakt het mogelijk om afspraken bij te houden, een adresboek te beheren en e-mails te versturen en te ontvangen. Het programma is in diverse talen, waaronder het Nederlands, te gebruiken. EssentialPIM is beschikbaar in een standaard- en een pro-uitvoering. De eerste is gratis, maar slechts beperkt bruikbaar; zo kan bijvoorbeeld niet met een draagbaar apparaat of met Outlook worden gesynchroniseerd.
