Astonsoft heeft een update uitgebracht voor EssentialPIM. Deze personal information manager maakt het mogelijk om afspraken bij te houden, een adresboek te beheren en e-mails te versturen en te ontvangen. Het programma is in diverse talen, waaronder het Nederlands, te gebruiken. EssentialPIM is beschikbaar in een standaard- en een pro-uitvoering. De eerste is gratis, maar slechts beperkt bruikbaar; zo kan bijvoorbeeld niet met een draagbaar apparaat of met Outlook worden gesynchroniseerd. Nieuw in versie 3.5 is onder andere de mogelijkheid om items aan elkaar te linken, om overal van rich text gebruik te maken en om contacten te synchroniseren met Google Contacts.
