Enkele dagen geleden is er een nieuwe versie van CDBurnerXP verschenen. Met dit programma kunnen cd's, dvd's, hd-dvd's en blu-ray-schijfjes worden gebrand. Daarnaast kunnen ook iso-bestanden gecreëerd en gebrand worden. De software is gratis voor zowel privégebruik als commercieel gebruik, is geschikt voor Windows 2000 en hoger en is te gebruiken in een groot aantal talen, waaronder het Nederlands. De download is slechts 3MB groot, maar het programma heeft wel het .NET Framework nodig om zijn werk te kunnen doen. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen zien:
