Alfredo Milani Comparetti heeft woensdag versie 4.38 van Speedfan uitgebracht. Dit kleine hardwaremonitorprogramma geeft informatie weer over allerhande zaken in de computer, zoals voltages, temperaturen, de snelheid van de fans en de smart-informatie van de harde schijven. Ook is het mogelijk, als het gebruikte moederbord dit ondersteunt, om de snelheid van de fans aan te passen. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen zien:
