Macecraft Software heeft donderdag een nieuwe versie van jv16 Powertools 2008 uitgebracht, te weten versie 1.8.0.460. Dit programma is bedoeld om allerlei zaken binnen Windows te tweaken. Zo zijn er bijvoorbeeld modules om te bepalen welke programma's met het booten van Windows gestart worden en kan er naar dubbele bestanden worden gezocht. Verder kan het register worden ontdaan van overbodige sleutels. In deze release zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen doorgevoerd:

- Fixed a bug from the Software Manager that caused it to list items hidden with the Right Click > Never Show Again feature
- Fixed a bug from many tools of the product, including the File Cleaner, which caused the product not being able to delete all the selected items with one click of the Delete button.
- Fixed a problem that caused the product not to start because of "You are violating the License Agreement" error message.
- Improved the startup speed of the product.
