EPIM heeft afgelopen vrijdag versie 2.5 van zijn 'personal information manager' EssentialPIM uitgebracht. Met dit programma is het mogelijk om contacten en afspraken bij te houden. Alle data wordt veilig door middel van een 128bit aes-versleuteling opgeslagen. Het programma is in diverse talen te gebruiken, waaronder in het Nederlands (klikken met rechts, opslaan als). EssentialPIM is beschikbaar in een standaard- en een pro-uitvoering. De eerste is gratis, maar slechts beperkt bruikbaar; zo kan er bijvoorbeeld niet met de pc worden gesynchroniseerd.
