Macecraft Software heeft gisteren een update van jv16 Powertools 2008 uitgebracht. Dit programma is bedoeld om allerlei zaken binnen Windows te tweaken. Zo zijn er bijvoorbeeld modules om te bepalen welke programma's met het booten van Windows gestart worden en kan er naar dubbele bestanden worden gezocht. Verder kan het register worden ontdaan van overbodige sleutels. In jv16 Powertools 2008 is niet alleen het uiterlijk flink onder handen genomen, ook is onder andere de module voor het opschonen van het Windows-register sterk verbeterd. Daarnaast is er nu ook een module waarmee per ongeluk verwijderde bestanden teruggehaald kunnen worden. Het changelog van deze release laat bugfixes, verbeterde vertalingen, waaronder de Nederlandse, en enkele nieuwe vertalingen zien:
