Kaspersky heeft enkele dagen geleden de eerste publieke bètaversie van de 7-serie van Anti-Virus en Internet Security beschikbaar gesteld. Om precies te zijn gaat het om versie 7.0.0.60 van Anti-Virus en Internet Security, die gedownload kunnen worden voor Windows. Anti-Virus is een antivirusprogramma voor het Windows-platform en kan naast het actief en passief scannen naar virussen, ook het systeem controleren op aanwezigheid van rootkits en kwaadwillige applicaties. Internet Security tracht daarentegen de computer te weren van ongewenste indringers, kwaadwillige programma's en spam, en kan actief het systeem scannen waarbij het ook mogelijk is om handmatig de scanprocedure te starten.
