Sinds een dag of twee is er vanaf de Lavasoft website een bètarelease beschikbaar van het antispy- en adwareprogramma Ad-Aware versie 2007. Op dit moment is het nog steeds mogelijk om je aan te melden als bètatester vanaf deze pagina. Veel is er nog niet over de nieuwe versie van Ad-Aware bekend. De enige informatie die we kunnen vinden staat in het helpbestand wat met bètarelease wordt meegeleverd en deze is nog maar half af. Opmerkelijk is in ieder geval dat Windows Vista nog ontbreekt in het lijstje met ondersteunde besturingssystemen, maar het gaat hier dan ook nog om een vroege bèta. In datzelfde bestand wordt het volgende over de nieuwe mogelijkheden geschreven:
