Software-update: Kiwi CatTools 3.2.9

Met Kiwi CatTools kan je eenvoudig een backup maken van de configuratie van verschillende firewalls, routers en switches in het netwerk. Het ondersteunt onder andere apparaten van Cisco, 3Com, Extreme, Foundry, HP en Netscreen. Daarnaast kan het verschillende testen uitvoeren waarmee de beschikbaarheid van de verschillende apparaten gemeten kan worden. Ook kan het eenvoudige wijzigingen doorvoeren op alle aangesloten apparaten, ideaal om bijvoorbeeld het beheerderswachtwoord van deze apparaten in één keer te veranderen. De ontwikkelaars van Kiwi Enterprises hebben Kiwi CatTools 3.2.9 uitgebracht voorzien van de volgende lijst met veranderingen:

Additions:

• Added device Juniper.Application.Accelerator
• Added a best-fit option to columns of most grids. Press F5 to best-fit a grid.

Fixes:

• Fixed Cisco Router General script for 'Subscript out of range' error in Port info table report activity.
• Fixed bug with pane display
• Fixed bug in Compare pane Save As function, where compared file names were swapped in HTML report
• Fixed bug with toggeling selected state for Activities
• Improved security checking on TFTP Server

Changes:

• Changed Cisco VPN script for backup activity to handle 'q' to Quit, '' to Continue -> page prompts when navigating menus.
• Added "! No configuration change since last restart" to ignore text of Cisco.Switch.IOS and Cisco.Router.General
• Changed PIX script to handle prompt changes brought about by the changeto command on an ASA
• Changed Juniper.Netsceen.Firewall script, increasing timeout for 'get config' command
• Extended timeout for squeeze command in the Cisco CatOS script
• Added "Flash device" as a recognised responce prompt for the Cisco CatOS script
• Added routine to ensure that at least one pane is visible at startup
• Added a display to the devices list showing how many devices are selected
• Changed Nortel.ARN.General to allow multiple attempts to access BCC
• Check added for V2 serial number when registering
• Changed Cisco.Switch.IOS, Cisco.Switch.CatOS and Cisco.Other.CSS scripts increasing timeout on "show int" command.
• Added Connect Via (using telnet) function to Extreme.Switch.General script.
