OnyX is een programma om het besturingssysteem Mac OS X te onderhouden, te optimaliseren en te personaliseren. Het kan daarnaast ook logbestanden bekijken en een aantal instellingen aanpassen van verscheidene applicaties zoals Finder, Dock en Safari. De ontwikkelaars van Titanium Software hebben versie 1.7.5 naar buiten gebracht die minimaal Mac OS X 10.4 of recenter nodig heeft. De volgende veranderingen zijn aangebracht:

- Modification of some commands not requiring anymore the administrator privileges

- Some hidden functions of Finder not functioning anymore have been removed
- The LaunchServices database is not reseted anymore while deleting the System caches
- Bugs of some hidden parameters of Terminal and Disk Utility corrected
- Bug while deleting the Microsoft Fonts cache corrected
- Bug while reading the parameter of the Login window functions corrected
- Option "Reset links between documents and applications" removed. (this reset be done while rebuilding the LaunchServices database)
