WinTV works best under Windows XP! WinTV running under Windows XP has a new feature called "de-interlacer". This feature improves the video quality of TV running on your PC screen. For example, if you've noticed lines in your TV picture when watching a football game, or when watching a news ticker, the WinTV's new de-interlacer will remove the lines. De-interlacer requires the latest WinTV driver for Windows XP and the latest WinTV application, which are listed below.
WDM driver for use under Windows XP, Windows98SE, WindowsMe and Windows2000. This driver has improved video quality and gives the proper aspect ratio when running full screen for both PAL and NTSC video. This driver does not support Hauppauge BT848 based boards. This driver does not support the stereo controls in the WinTV-Theater, though video and capturing will work fine.
To install, download to a temporary directory and run WDM317_19299.EXE Use the latest WinTV2000 application
