Software-update: ecto 1.8.5

Het programma ecto is volledig uitgerust om desktop blogging uit te voeren. Ondersteuning voor verschillende blogservices is aanwezig, zoals Blogger, Blojsom, Drupal, MovableType, Nucleus, TypePad en WordPress. Je kan hiermee dus offline je blog schrijven om deze dan in één keer te uploaden wanneer je online bent. Het programma heeft een aantal handige functies aanboord en heeft een overzichtelijke interface. Voor het Windows-platform is versie 1.8.5 uitgebracht met de volgende veranderingen:

Version 1.8.5:

• Fixed metaWeblog getCategories crash.
• Fixed crash in Profile Wizard if RSD Api Name contains space.
• Fixed menu option "New draft with Template" is enabled even when there is no template present.
• Removed the extra confirmation message when sending an edit post.
• Improved RSD parsing.

Version 1.8.4:

• Fixed 100% CPU usage in Post window that was introduced in 1.8.2
• Fixed crash when initializing FeedDemon watcher in Win95/98/Me. Full FeedDemon support only avaliable with NT4 onward. With Win95/98/Me ecto will only work with FeedDemon if ecto is not already running.

Version 1.8.3:

• Fixed 100% CPU spike when opening post with more than 1 Technorati tags in the post.
• Fixed "Drag and Drop failed" error when using FeedDemon 'Blog This' feature with ecto already running.
• Fixed the ability to open mulitple post windows for the same post.
• Misc fixes.
• Added auto adding tags to tag list if not already exist.
• Changed Keyword field to accept multiple lines.
• Improved checking on running multiple instance of ecto.
• Improved error message when encounter invalidly formatted error message from server.

Version 1.8.2:

• Fixed post window text boxes' contextual menu disappearance introduced in 1.8.
• Fixed incorrect error message when retrieving posts from empy WordPress blog.
• Fixed categories parsing for metaWeblog.getCategories. Now works with metaWeblog spec format categories as well as WordPress/MovableType's format.
• Fixed Profile Wizard not using MovableType API for TypePad-powered blog.

Version 1.8.1:

• Fixed # of Recent Posts to retrieve limit of 50. New limit is 999, which should be enough for anyone.
• Other misc fixes.

Version 1.8:

• Added Technorati tag support.
• Added Blogger post data time support.
• Added Blooger draft post support.
• Added command line option (-d or -debug) to enable exception logging. Logging is now off by default.
• Fixed application crash if initial profile creation fails.
• Fixed ExpressionEngine post date/time not localised.
• Improved pinging timed-out error message.
• Other misc fixes.

Werkt niet op WinXP64. Hij klaagt (onterrecht) dat Framework 1.1 niet is geïnstalleerd

Dom krijg de melding dat Framework 1.1 is geinstalleerd maar niet SP1..:Z .
Nee hehe ik heb SP2

@Jack Flushell: Dat is 1 van de redenen waarom mijn x64 windows nog steeds in z'n hoesje zit.

Het is een erg fijn programma om mee te werken. Laten we nu maar hopen dat ze web-log er ook mee intergreren volgende keer

Ben je nou tweaker of niet? Waarom makkelijk doen als het moeilijk kan? Ik zit ook nog steeds op me x64 drivers voor me muis te wachten maar he, het ding muist dus ik wacht lekker

ecto is het _eerste_ progsel dat niet werkt en ik gebruik WinXP64 al bijna een jaar

Lijkt me eerder aan echo te liggen dus.
