SlimServer is een stukje software dat communiceert met de Squeezebox, een stukje hardware van Slim Devices die ook dit stukje software ontwikkelen. In het kort is dit een apparaat dat aangesloten wordt op de audio-installatie en het kan bijna alle lossless- en lossy-audioformaten af spelen. Versie 6.2.1 is sinds kort beschikbaar met de volgende aanpassingen:
