Op de website van Amd club kan sinds kort een nieuwe versie van Central Brain Identifier worden opgehaald met 7.7.0.0 Build 1011 R1 als het versienummer. Het programma herkent meer dan vijftig modellen AMD-processors en geeft gedetailleerde informatie weer zoals de naam, revisie en voltage van de core, frequentie, rating, cache en PowerNow-technologie. Daarnaast is het ook in staat enkele tweaks uit te voeren ten aanzien van bijvoorbeeld de L1-cache en het Clock Control Register. De aankondiging ziet er als volgt uit:
Announced the first Release of the Central Brain Identifier 7.70! Among new additions in the latest version there is a complete identification of the AMD Athlon 64 3700+ and 4000+ processors with the CPUID signature of 30F72h! There has been an improvement in determination of a nominal frequency of the AMD Athlon 64 processor with a model number higher that 4000+. Significantly enhanced support of the AMD Sempron processor with 64-bit instruction extensions, besides, eliminated several bugs in this direction. Now CBId calculates a performance rating for the latest 64-bit Sempron processor family. Enjoy!
