Helaas!Nokia heeft zijn eerste tablet aangekondigd. De Lumia 2520 heeft een 10"-scherm en draait op Windows RT, het voor arm-processors bedoelde besturingssysteem van Microsoft. De geruchten over de tablet gingen al twee jaar.

Ik zie dat ze een connector aan de zijkant (portrait-mode) hebben gemaakt voor het toetsenbord. Wat ik dan graag zou zien is een mogelijkheid om hier een cover aan te koppelen met een e-ink scherm. Door een deze simpele add-on creëer je heel simpel een e-reader. Denk dat hier wel markt voor is en technologisch geen echte uitdaging is.

Waarschijnlijk dat die met de Nokia Black update (GDR3+nokia update) naar alle WP8 toestelen komt.This morning in Abu Dhabi, Nokia revealed their latest creation for mobile photography: StoryTeller. The app, available on their Lumia 2520 Windows RT 8.1 tablet and Lumia 1520 Windows Phone, allows users to maintain their photos in mini collections, organized for them automatically.
The app works off of Nokia’s HERE Maps, points of interests, time and date. StoryTeller works by using all of that available information to categorize your photos, even selecting the best photos (weeding out blurry ones) for you, to give a unified retelling of your night out.
For instance, say you went out to a restaurant or bar with your friends, those photos taken during that time frame and corresponding the same geographical location will be grouped together. Even the name of the location can be pulled in automatically thanks to Nokia’s HERE Maps technology.
Described as “photos meets maps”, the StoryTeller app can play Nokia Cinemagraphs automatically, access all of Nokia’s photos app for zooming in or out and should give users a new way of looking at their photographic lives.
