De mannen van Thresh's FiringSquad hebben een artikel gebakken over de nieuwe nVidia Detonator 5.13 die onlangs zijn uitgelekt. Hoewel de FSAA mogelijkheid in Direct3D niet helemaal 100% werkt is er wel duidelijk een performancewinst aanwezig t.o.v. de officiële 3.68 detonators:
If you were experiencing problems with the 5.08 drivers you should seriously consider trying 5.13. While we didn't encounter any problems with 5.13, there are plenty of gamers out there who went back to 5.08 after testing 5.13.That's the beauty of these recent Detonator driver leaks. If you're looking to get more performance out of your system and don't mind dealing with your system if something goes wrong these drivers are a great option to have. After all, if things don't work out, you can always uninstall them.
If these drivers do work in your system you'll appreciate the performance improvement. It's almost like getting a new card for free!
