If you didn't know it before, the GeForce 256 DDR is clearly the best video card currently available. This doesn't mean it's the best solution for everyone however, as the Celeron 450 tests clearly indicate that DDR memory doesn't substantially outperform conventional SDRAM on a 450MHz processor.
The Rage Fury Maxx is still a work in progress: Windows 2000 drivers still aren't available and the latest Windows 98 drivers still leave room for improvement. At a retail price of $299, this card is clearly out of reach for most gamers.
The Viper II offers excellent performance in Quake III fastest at 640x480, and at such a good price it's definitely a tempting card for the typical gamer on a budget. Quake III high quality tests also reveal goood Viper II performance. The GeForce SDR also offers good overall performance.
Thanks Tachyon voor de tip.
