Ace's Hardware heeft een link gepost naar een roadmap voor AMD mobo's en platforms. Volgens de pic zal er al in april begonnen worden met de productie van Socket-A moederplanken en Spitfire processoren. Na de introductie van de Thunderbird en Spitfire zal de Slot-A Athlon snel baan moeten ruimen:
Thanks to Idiot for sending me this link from PC Watch Japan. If you look at it you will notice it is a platform/motherboard roadmap for AMD processors. Judging from this information, it would seem that there may be limited production of Socket-A motherboards and Spitfire CPUs as early as April. These supplies will probably just be stockpiled, but if the roadmap is true, we could see limited shipments to follow in May. Socket-A motherboard production looks rather sluggish for the initial months of May through July, however. Spitfire production in June looks to be roughly equivalent to Athlon production in January, with Socket-A/Spitfire becoming more dominant each month thereafter.
