AthlonOC.com heeft een review van de 3DfxCool SlotHO neer gemikt. Meneer de reviewer was dankzij deze slot cooler in staat om zijn Athlon 500@750 naar 780MHz over te klokken:
I think that was a fair test don't you? For $8 I was able to squeeze an extra 45Mhz almost an entire speed grade. I like how I can slide the cooler into my top slot above my video card, and it will suck hot air away from the back side of my processor and kick it out the back side of the case. This could be the reason I was able to overclock the CPU higher than without it, but the entire case temp dropped because of the heat from the processor going straight out the case.
