Although Soltek is pretty low profile in Singapore, you might have heard of it's SL-02D, the ultimate upgrade solution for legacy Slot-1 mainboards the.adapter card SL-02D Power C-Tune. The built-in PWM circuit on SL-02D enables the processor to acquire the Vcore needed directly from the system power supply, rather than from the mainboard. This unique design makes it possible to use FC-PGA Coppermine on legacy Slot-1 mainboards that do not support 1.6 Volts Vcore.
The KX133 based mainboard SL77KV includes frequency tweaking from 66 ~ 133Mhz selectable from a combination of jumpers and within CMOS. It also has voltage tweaking from 1.6v to +0.4v (2.0v). It looks like a board of great potential. We will be revealing more in our review coming soon exclusively from Overclockers' Workbench.
