As you may know if you have read any of our previous Cambridge Soundworks reviews, the satellites are known for their great sound output. Consisting of a 2.5" long-throw driver powered by 7 watts each, the satellites produce crisp and clean highs with great mids. The center channel really puts out clear vocals, with the front and rear satellites supporting the overall ambience of the music or movie.Hotel California by the Eagles came in with amazing clarity. The guitar solo came through with the feeling as if you were right there, feeling each cord being struck. The sound from the bass guitar was reproduced very nicely via the subwoofer, for a well-balanced surrounding sound field.
3D imaging was also very involving and accurate. System Shock 2 has a very well put together imaging scheme, that directs the sound from exactly where it should, and the DTT2500 produces the effect seamlessly.
