Planet Hardware schreef een review van de Promise Ultra66 ATA66 controller en keek daarbij ook naar de installatie onder Linux:
Well I have to say for Linux the installation was a painstakingly long process...but now that I have given everyone the key to doing it, it shouldn't be too hard. If you wanted to install any distro on a Ultra66 drive you need to still use the smae proceedure. As for the cards access times...damn! It's a speedy little card.
