Ik zag op Voodoo Extreme dat Creative Labs een bak met nieuwe Quake II OpenGL drivers gereleased heeft voor z'n Voodoo2 en Banshee kaarten:
Today we're releasing an optimized GL driver for Quake II for both the 3D Blaster Banshee and the 3D Blaster Voodoo2. It's the same file for each, but each product has its own download page:For the Banshee:

...and for the Voodoo2:

Optimizing GL drivers for Quake II is a bit of a black art, and it was tough to improve on 3Dfx's already excellent work. Our driver won't give all users a framerate increase, and on some hardware platforms, you're actually better off sticking with the 3Dfx ICD or miniGL driver. To give you an idea on the relative performance of the drivers on various systems, we've put together a set of benchmarks
While this driver can also be used for Half Life, the original Quake, or other games which use an ICD or miniGL driver, our testing and optimization work has been concentrated on Quake II. You may run into problems if you use our driver with other games. Of course, you're welcome to experiment, but we recommend that you download this driver only if you're a Quake II player
This driver is a production of the Americas division of Creative Labs. It's intended for hardcore Quake II tweakers, and we can't offer phone or e-mail support. As always, great places to post your benchmark results or compare notes with other players are the 3D Blaster Voodoo2 and 3D Blaster Banshee newsgroups on Creative's news server
