Using the NVIDIA reference drivers, the X² can be overclocked fairly easily. Performance will be contingent on the resolution as we observed the largest improvement at 1280x1024.Perfectly stable at 130/330MHz, a 10% speed increase can be expected from Quake III. Trying to push the card too far, however, results in hampered performance, slowing the game to a paltry 15fps. Overall, overclocking this speed demon may not be worth the time.
