Hardware Pros heeft een review neer gemikt van de SY-6BA+IV, Soyo's vierde generatie BX bord. Met Vcore & L2 cache latency tweaking, automatische 30-40MHz PCI clock settings en support voor een flinke sloot van 28 busspeeds is dit een erg relaxed plankje voor overklokkers. Bovendien heeft het bord een extra ATA66 controller, een idee dat Soyo duidelijk van Abit gecopy/paste heeft:
Stability was not an issue at all with this board, no matter what FSB speed we were using. 150+MHz FSB's are this boards forte, so if you have RAM and a processor that can make it that high, this is the board to do it with. Performance was also within 3% of all other i440BX Boards we've tested.

mijn ATA66 controller heeft maar één, ook nog te sharen, irq nodig.
