Overclockers' Workbench heeft wat info over Coppermine support in Abit mobo's bijeen gemaaid. Zo te lezen hebben BH6 1.0x, BX6 1.0x, ZM6, BM6, WX6 Rev 1.0 en BP6 gebruikers pech gehad:
Q: Do the BH6 Rev. 1.00, 1.01, 1.02, 1.03, etc. and up (BUT NOT 1.1 and above) boards and the BX6 Rev 1.00, 1.01, 1.02, etc. (BUT NOT BX6 Rev 2.0) boards support Coppermine CPUs?A: No, the BH6 Rev. 1.00, 1.01, 1.02, 1.03, etc. and up (BUT NOT 1.1 and above) boards and the BX6 Rev 1.00, 1.01, 1.02, etc. (BUT NOT BX6 Rev 2.0) do not support Coppermine CPUs due to the native design of power for the CPU core voltage probably not being sufficient. So to avoid instability, we advise that the afore mentioned boards do not support Coppermine CPUs.
The BH6 1.1 boards can support the Coppermine CPUs but only with a 100MHz FSB
Q: Do the ZM6, BM6, WX6 Rev. 1.0 and BP6 boards support Coppermine CPUs?
A: Because the VTT and Reset signals of Coppermines are different from the current Socket 370 CPUs, the ZM6, BM6, WX6 Rev. 1.0 and BP6 boards will not support Coppermine CPUs.
Q: Does the BP6 support Coppermine CPUs?
A: No, not even in single mode as the circuitry for the dual configuration for Celerons of Socket 370 has used up extra pin outs that are needed by Coppermine.
