Looking at the results we see that the Viper II is definitely a promising product. The results are a lot better than TNT2 Ultra, Voodoo 3 3500 and Matrox's G400 MAX, most of all in the higher resolutions. But as expected it can't beat the GeForce chip on the Asus V6600 cards. But maybe the picture will change a bit when final drivers with T&L support are released. One great thing about this chip is the way it can move large textures. Have a look at the 3DMark results. Even with 32 MB of textures it moves at almost 130 fps, more than four times better than GeForce.More about the Viper 2, including a full review of the final product with T&L support in a few days.
