Not strictly hardware or gaming related but I thought this news bit was still relevant to most readers' interests. GoodNoise is teaming with Adaptec to make software that will allow normal CD players to read MP3s. Imagine bringing a portable CD player to the park or library and carrying 8-10 hrs worth of music instead of the paltry 30 min that the RIO allows. Or popping in one CD for a long car trip and never having to change it. Time for those fat cat record company execs to sweat through some more sleepless nights! Read the story on Wired.
