Nog een review van BXBoards, met ditmaal de Shuttle 56x CD-ROM drive als slachtoffer. Hier een stukje:
This is certainly a fast drive, although in our tests it did not really live up to its "56x" designation. Speed is good, especially the access time which the benchmarks showed were between 83 and 88 M/S - not far of the 80ms quoted speed. Often many high speed CDROM's are either noisy or suffer vibration problems but luckily the Shuttle 56x is afflicted by neither. This is not a "true" 56x device, so 56x speeds will only be encountered on the outer tracks of a CD under the most optimum of conditions. Calling this 56xMax would be more accurate.
