There have been a lot of 3.xx Nvidia beta drives floating around the web lately and I managed to get my hands on some drivers which were version 3.52. So I thought I'd take a look at the 3d performance compared with the old standby 2.08 drivers and what I've seen ain't pretty. These drivers are actually slightly slower than the 2.08 ones. All tests were run with core 145 and memory 180 on a Diamond Viper770 and a Celeron 300A overclocked to 527. the memory can go higher on this card, much higher, but for the sake of eliminating stability variables I brought it down from 205 which is the normal spot. Anyway I'll make this snappy. Here's what I saw in Quake3:
