I think BF6 is one of the best product among Slot 1 motherboards based on Intel 440BX chipset; its high operating stability and its features will make it a product of choice when it will be released in October 1999. Is it an ideal motherboard? No, because it has some gaps, such as the presence of only 3 Slots for DIMM memory modules and the lack of an ATA-66 controller and, particularly, it suffers from the technical limit of the Intel 440BX chipset, above all the fact that you can’t set the 1/2 divisor for AGP bus (very useful if you plan to use bus frequency of 133 MHz without having compatibility problems with the video card).BF6 is however a step forward in comparison the its competitors thanks to its Soft Menu II menu which includes many options and the clock generator which can support all the frequencies between 83 and 200 MHz, with 1 MHz increase each time.
